Orange Peel is a food brand based in New York that specializes in Asian Homestyle Cooking.

Who We Are

We are a couple obsessed with good food. After eating and cooking hundreds of meals together, we recognized that the food we love most is the food from our childhood dining tables—the food our mothers and grandmothers made for us.

 

We combined our Asian heritagesfrom Taiwan and Nepal, respectively, to create classic homestyle dishes with simplicity, integrity, and elegance.

Our Cuisine

Our cuisine is mostly dough-based, with many of our dishes beginning with the simple act of mixing flour and water. This dough can be steamed, boiled, or fried, resulting in distinct textures and flavors. With both Taiwanese and Nepali heritage, these dough-based dishes also bridge the gap between our cultures—jiaozi and momo, or scallion pancake and paratha, are not so different, and serve as wonderful vessels for varieties of Taiwanese-Nepali-American flavors!

Our dishes are available to eat fresh at our pop-ups! We also release items from the Orange Peel Pantry for pre-order via Hotplate

Where To Find Us

We pop up at Commune Wine Bar in Clinton Hill every Sunday from 10 AM - 2 PM
